Senior Financial Analyst - Maturing Liquid at Beam Suntory in Clermont, KY

Role Responsibilities Business Partnership:
Partner with Distillery, Warehousing, and Quality teams to optimize distillation and barrel planning. Provide decision support to Engineering and Controllership for potential investments within the maturing liquid process. Partner within Finance to analyze cash requirements, production variances, and ad hoc requests. Collaborate with R&D to support innovative liquid streams. Financial Modeling:
Manage maturing liquid inventory model to allocate liquid supply to demand requirements and estimate future liquid costs. Maintain long term balance sheet progression estimates of maturing liquid inventory and provide visibility to expected inventory levels and cash flow impact. Maintain distillation model to quantify grain and barrel requirements and identify potential risks to plan. Budgeting:
Leverage Activity-Based-Costing Model to determine labor requirements and costs for distillation and warehousing operations. Provide Bill of Material updates for maturing liquid production standards. Provide ending inventory projections and cash flow implications. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Support month-end close process with timely task completion, production analysis, and KPI reporting. Track and report barrel recovery trends and financial variances. Track and report bulk liquid sales. Drive performance enablement through reporting automation, waste elimination, and other continuous improvement measures. Maintain internal controls by adhering to accounting principles, providing accurate analysis, and supporting maturing inventory cycle counts. Qualifications & Experience Role Specific Competencies Possess and maintain high integrity Able to effectively communicate to varying levels of business Must be a self-starter and comfortable operating independently Flexible to changing demands and able to execute in fast-paced environment Applies entrepreneurial and continuous improvement approach to work Qualifications & Experience Education - Finance, Accounting, or equivalent degree Certifications/Licensure - MBA or CPA preferred Years of experience - 5
years of experience in Finance / Accounting Industry experience - 2
years of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in spirits industry. Software experience - Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; SAP or similar ERP experience required.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
